Exclusive: Law & Order: SVU Drafts Treat Williams for Guest Place

Treat Williams Law & Order: SVU has drafted Treat Williams to guest-star by having an approaching episode, TVGuide.com has learned exclusively. The Golden Globe-nominated actor, 59, may have Mike Stanton, a classic all-star quarterback taken up in the sting operation by getting an underage prostitute. Stanton will probably be represented by famous defense attorney Bayard Ellis (Andre Braugher), who made his first appearance round the NBC drama the other day. Andre Braugher battles they on SVU: "He may be the enemy, but he is not a villain" Shooting round the episode, entitled "Spiraling Lower," begins now. No airdate remains set. Most broadly noted for starring as Dr. Andy Brown on Everwood for four seasons, Williams presently appears round the Lifetime series In the Wall. Law & Order: SVU airs Wednesdays at 10/9c on NBC.
